Making a change is so very hard – good intentions don’t always translate into action. Dr John talks about one way that we may achieve our health goals – whether they be to improve our fitness or to change our habits. Dr John recommends that you be SMART when setting goals.

S – Make the health goal you set Specific,
MMeasure your progress,
A – Make sure your goal is Achievable,
R – Be Realistic. Make sure your are not asking too much of yourself,
T – Make it Timely. Don’t expect too much over a short period and don’t stretch it out so the reward is too far in the distance.
