Falls are the leading cause of injury as we grow older. It’s important that we keep an eye on grandma’s house and make sure it’s set up to prevent falls. 26% of falls can be prevented by making some inexpensive changes to the home.
Help clear up the clutter, remove the loose rugs, rearrange the furniture and improve the lighting so Grandma knows where she’s walking. Handrails in the bathroom and night lights for those 3am trips to the bathroom are a must.
