More than 300,000 Australians have glaucoma – which would fill almost six Allianz Stadiums. Of these, around half don’t even know they have it. Glaucoma is a common eye disease, which slowly destroys the optic nerve and can eventually lead to blindness. If caught early, it can be treated. I was joined today by Dr. Andrew White, consultant ophtamologist at Westmead, to talk to us about glaucoma.
