A new aspirin study

Aspirin

Do you take aspirin? If aspirin came on the market today, it would be on a prescription because it’s so widely taken. A myriad of different ills are fixed by aspirin, things like prevention of heart attacks and even treatment of certain cancers and dementia. Professor John McNeil from Monash University joined us to talk about new research he’s leading into aspirin. The study aims at weighing up the benefits and risks associated with taking aspirin.

If you’re over 70 and haven’t had a heart attack or stroke then you can get involved in this important research. Just ask your local GP!
